Product features Alice Hamilton, leading expert in Occupational Health & Safety and pioneer in the field of industrial toxicology.  Famous for her studies of illnesses on workers in the workplace related to industrial metals and chemical compounds on the body, her findings led to the passage of protection laws in the state of Illinois.  Artist Lucinette Alvarado's design features a creative depiction of Alice Hamilton holding a copy of her book Exploring the Dangerous Trades.  Image was created for use by the AHIA Women in Industrial Engineering (WIH) group.
